EGG-SPERIENCE DAWN PATROL
The Georgia Sea Turtle Center’s (GSTC) Egg-sperience Dawn Patrol program offers participants the unique opportunity to assist sea turtle biologists with nest monitoring efforts on Jekyll Island. The morning will be spent patrolling Jekyll Island’s beaches on all-terrain vehicles locating and protecting nests, checking for signs of predators, and conducting nest inventories. The opportunity to work alongside a seasoned sea turtle biologist and contribute to efforts to protect the sea turtle population on Jekyll Island will make this a worthwhile experience one will never forget.
Cost: $50 plus tax, ages 4+ only, reservations required
Time: 6:45 A.M.; patrol starts promptly at 7:00 A.M.

Sunrise Walks are offered Thursday-Saturday at 6:30 am in August and on Thursdays and Saturdays the first couple weeks in September. Advance reservations are required as group size is limited by DNR permit restrictions (25 guests) and programs fill quickly.
