Have Some Fun

There are so many fun activities on and around St Simons Island:  Biking, Fishing, Golf, Kayaking, Paddleboards, Tennis, and Local Music.  You are going to have a great time!

It’s great to have a bike on St Simons IslaSt Simons cycle on the beachnd.  Bring your own or rent one at one of the local bike shops.  Use it to get around from our cottage to dining, bars, stores in the Village, or explore the entire island.  There are bike paths everywhere and you can ride all the way to the north end of the island (about a 25 mile round trip from the cottage).  Also a day trip to Jekyll Island with your bikes is a great time.

If you like to fish you can fish right off the beach or off the St Simons Pier.  There are several fishing charter companies if you’d like to go deep sea fishing.

Since its destination as a wildlife refuse in 1962, Harris Neck National Wildlife Refuge has served as a premier nesting, foraging, and wintering habitat for many species of wildlife.  You may see endangered wood storks and the colorful painted bunting.

You can also play with your dog on the beach, go birding, or book a trip on the Emerald Princess Casino Boat if you like to play casino games.
